Brenda Berg's company, Scandinavian Child, was founded on the principles of the Svan brand, and adopted Svan as its flagship product line. However, Brenda sought a way to offer parents high style at a more economical price point. She commissioned Anders and Kjell to create a more affordable product line that is still in keeping with Scandinavian Child's "designs without compromise" philosophy - providing a unique combination of functionality, style and safety.

Anka by Svan is one maker of wooden furniture for babies and children. Choose from high-quality pieces that will last for many years. One popular and sturdy product by Anka is highchairs. Each of these is made with a stained wooden frame and plastic tray top. The seat is also padded and, once you’re finished using the highchair, the frame can fold up.
